In particular, the workshop will take stock of eGovernment good practices related to Measurement – how Member States, Regions and public administrations in general measure their performance (back office) and/or the impact and user satisfaction of the eGovernment services.

This workshop is an initiative of the Directorate-General Information Society and Media, European Commission and will be held on March 2, 2010. In particular, it aims to encourage the sharing of good practice in the area of eHealth and address the legal and logistics dimensions in telemedicine practice. Subjects to be covered include legal liability of practitioners, patient data privacy and protection, as well as financial and logistics subjects, such as reimbursement of services, etc.

The workshop on “eProcurement in Large International Organizations” is organized by NAMSA (contact person Mr. Sveen Tormod) in cooperation with the eProcurement Forum community on ePractice (http://www.epractice.eu/community/eprocurement).

The focus will be on sharing experience of using electronic systems to facilitate cross-border procurement within large organizations that usually have to manage suppliers from different European Countries and that purchase for different branch offices.
