Professional profile
I am one of the founders of CORVE. CORVE is part of the Flemish government, tasked with developing and underpinning ICT projects for an accessible, demand-driven, simplified and integrated public service. I am mainly experienced in the field of transport and mobility, land use planning and education. In my career of almost 10 years as a researcher and civil servant I was mainly focussed on re-use of knowledge, authentic data and even software between governments. Three years ago I started the VIP program (Flemish integration projects program) to support innovative e-government projects in the Flemish administration. T'ill now 20 VIP projects were supported. I am also a regular contributor to several government-related magazines. Since 2007 I am mainly involved as a GIS expert. 1999-2004: Mobility and transport expert - Flemish government mobility department
2005-2007: Flemish e-government coördination unit (CORVE): responsible for e-gov project support
2007-: Flemish e-government coördination unit (CORVE): responsible for e-gov project support and geographical data
