eProcurement forum

The eProcurement forum is an initiative sponsored by the European Commission to help all the eProcurement practitioners in Europe to meet and share their questions and knowledge.

The forum is not an official Commission site. It will be an open space where any member can express freely their opinions and suggestions.

The forum is focused on technical and organisational aspects of eProcurement. Legal topics require specific treatment and will be only handled via official channels.

If you are interested in joining, please update your epractice profile to help us to better identify the members:
- Make your profile as complete as possible, in order to allow other members to know about you. A personal picture is a great help to recognise each other.
- Make your profile public (by default it is private). Even with a public profile, you can always choose to keep your email address hidden.
- Select at least "eProcurement" as "Topic" under "domain/eGovernment"

For any practical issues regarding this initiative, please do not hesitate to contact Eva Coscia (http://epractice.eu/people/ecoscia) at eprocurement@epractice.eu

We count on you!

Reputation management systems in eProcurement

I am interested in learning about existing experience using reputation-based system in eProcurement (e-bay like, in order to share evaluations of potential suppliers). In Italy, CONSIP considered this option for its eProcurement platform back in 2004. In the US, Steven Kelman's paper "Remaking Federal Procurement" mention this as a critical issue.
Does anybody know any implementation of such systems?
Thanks
david
